Foundations for Thriving
This 6-month programme focuses on the essential human skills that junior in-house lawyers need to maximise their impact as business advisers.
Through an immersive learning experience, combining workshops, group discussion and guest speakers, delegates will explore how to maximise their contribution to the business using human skills including communication, connection and priority management.

This programme is ideal for in-house lawyers who are 3 years PQE or less.

Perfect for junior in-house lawyers who want to:
-
build confidence in real-world skills: this programme goes beyond back-letter law and allows you space to explore and grow your human skills - skills which are essential for a successful and sustainable legal career;
-
accelerate your transition into a business adviser: moving from legal technician to trusted business partner can be difficult, this programme supports that transformation by focusing on mindset, not just knowledge;
-
create a connected space to grow: the blend of in-person and virtual sessions gives you the chance to share challenges, ask questions you may not feel safe asking internally, and build a supportive peer network.
Perfect for managers wanting to:
-
boost performance and independence: your junior lawyers will be more commercially attuned, better communicators and less reliant on supervision - freeing up senior time and improving delivery;
-
strengthen the whole team: by equipping juniors with core human and business skills, manager gets stronger team dynamics, smoother internal relationships and a more capable legal function overall;
-
support retention and morale: investing in development boosts engagement, loyalty and reduces the risk of burnout and churn - common in early in-house careers.

Over the course of 6 months, you will learn....
